Use the team's vocabulary — 'Away!', 'Step!', 'Push!' One or two words everyone knows beats a sentence nobody processes mid-play.

Use a flat arm to set the defensive line's height. Push the line up after clearances and before restarts to squeeze the space.

Keep your own angle and depth while you organize. Don't drift off your arc mid-instruction — you must be ready the moment play resumes.
