Find a flat spot
Set the ball on clean, flat turf — never in a hole or divot. A true surface gives pure contact and consistent flight every time.

Scan while you set
Use the placement seconds to read the press. Pick short or long before you step back so you approach the ball already decided.

Measure identical steps back and across — like a rugby kicker. A repeatable approach makes the strike automatic under pressure.
